The Last Light Walk.

The bad thing about the clocks going back is it will be dark at 5 o’clock so I can’t go on my countryside walks and down the track unless Dad or a Friend is with us or unless its early in the day because even though Mum has a torch it’s too dark down there just the two of us!
It was a beautiful autumn day, there was a slight nip in the air but the sun was shining, the birds were singing and the squirrels were peeking out of the trees at me.

It was so quiet, I don’t think we saw anyone just the local wildlife.

I made the most of my walk down to the lake in the sun.

We saw some cows in the field.

I sat for a rest on a tree trunk bench to take in the quiet surroundings and incredible scenery.

Tree trunk bench hide and seek!

The autumn colours shone brightly in the autumn sun and the trees seemed like they were on fire with the brilliant oranges, yellows and gold!

The Sun makes everything sparkle and shine it is a wonderful world that we live in!

The Tree Arch walk way is made of bent over trees that grew in to a tunnel, I love this place and feel so close to Mother Earth and all her nature here!

 Smelling a stick.

Than at the lake we saw a Dalmatian who was having swim in the lake, it was far too cold for a swim so I just walked over and watched him!

I had such a nice walk but feel sad that from now on its going to be too dark to come here on weeknights, just the weekends!

  1. Hi Frank! I'm sad that your walks will be cut back too because I love when you take us with you. The scenery is just so wonderful! I went for a walk yesterday and will probably go again today before the weather turns cold and rainy again.
    Love,
    Payton

  2. Hi Frank
What lovely countryside you live in. I hate that it gets dark so early now because I also get less walks when it is dark.
