This is not a dog toilet!
" This is not a dog toilet!" - The sign in the lane tells it like it is!
I go for a walk up Llanfabon with Mum and Sammie.
The grass was so long that I could barley make my way through it, my little paws were aching and my nose was coverd in pollen!
It took ages to get to the top, we nearly killed Sammie and Mum was scared she had flys up her skirt! Hee,Hee!
I don't wanna do that again Mum!

The new "Guest Bed" is ready!
I'm relaxing on the bed with Dad.
The new "guest bed" is set up!
I think even though it fills the room, it makes it look more spacious!

Mum and Dad have a new metal bed, it is much lower to the ground than the last one which is great for me, it now faces the other direction, I must admit this did fox me the first morning as I am so used to running around the corner and jumping up on the bed, now I have to run in the room and jump! Mum and Dad put the beds together and moved the beds all on thier own without arguing, although they did yell at me to get out of the way once because they were trying to move thier old bed and I was standing underneath it! Oops!

Mum Saves Me From Drowning in the Lake!
Last night we went Treharris way again for "walkies" with Mum and Aunty Ashley.
I like the fossilised fish on the sign.
On the way down to the waterfalls and the lakes.
We have to go over the big bridge.
Me being really inquisitive as usual.
Meeting a new doggy friend - he looks just like Jasper!

The Treharris walk takes you passed a long river ...
and the coal seam stones.
Seven feet coal seam!
Me and Mum pose by the seven feet coal seam archway.
Say cheese! Where? Where is the cheese??!!
Model Puggy! Posing for more photos!
Running alongside the lakes - no life buoy!!

Summer Solstice!
Today is the longest day, it’s the day when we get the most sunlight, it’s also known as The Summer Solstice, a solstice is an astronomical event when the Sun's apparent position in the sky reaches its northernmost or southernmost extremes. One of the largest Summer Solstice celebrations is held every year at Stonehenge, Mum wants to go to Stonehenge with me and Dad next year for a holiday and she loves all the magic and mystery that surrounds it!
The European celebration that accompanies the solstice is Midsummer's Eve, Bonfires are lit to protect against evil spirits which are believed to roam freely when the sun is turning southwards again, it’s now officially summer but it starts to get dark in the evenings again soon which I'm not too happy about, the weather gets cold and rainy and my walkies time decreases as well as the time I get to play ball outside with Mum and Dad, mainly because they haven't got good eye sight in the dark like me and cant find the ball, hee, hee! Last year we had quite a nice Autumn and then a freezing cold and snowy winter, lets hope we get more hot sunny days this summer because at the moment all we have had is rain! Ugh!
Most of my walks recently have been to the park, around the boardwalk and down the track Nelson way and home because the weather has been so miserable! I really enjoy my Walkies but not when its cold and drizzly! I hope its dry tonight as I'm going to get celebrating with my Summer Solstice Bonfire burning and dance in the moonlight with my paws in the air! Woooooooof!

Total Lunar Eclipse
Last night a total lunar eclipse took place. It was the first of two such eclipses in 2011. The second will occur on December 10, 2011 - this was a relatively rare central lunar eclipse, in which the center point of Earth's shadow passes across the Moon. The last time a lunar eclipse was closer to the center of the earth's shadow was on July 16, 2000. The next central total lunar eclipse will be on July 27, 2018. A lunar eclipse occurs when the moon passes behind the earth so that the earth blocks the sun's rays from striking the moon. A lunar eclipse can only occur the night of a full moon. Unlike a solar eclipse, which can only be viewed from a certain relatively small area of the world, a lunar eclipse may be viewed from anywhere on the night side of the Earth. A lunar eclipse lasts for a few hours, whereas a total solar eclipse lasts for only a few minutes at any given place. As a dog I find myself getting a bit strange around the full moon, I get a little crazy, as crazy as a little puggy can be that is, I like to spend time in the garden looking up in to the night sky!! Historically there has been a common belief that a full moon can have an effect on people and animals causing them to act bizarrely. The word ‘lunatic’ stems from “luna” for Moon, and comes from a folklore link that the moon can make a person mad or insane. Grrrrrrrrrrr……!

Frogs!
I went down to the pond with Mum and Sammie and had a look in the pond to see if the tadpoles were still there, they were still there swimming away but suddenly I was startled by something in the grass! The grass appeared to be moving and when I had a look closer I saw what it was ..... Frogs! There were these tiny little frogs jumping around in the grass!! This time of year they start to make their way out of the water and out in to the big wide world!
