Follow me as I take you on a little journey through my usual walk down the cycle track, along the train track and to the big pond. For those of you who are new to my blog I live in South Wales in Wales which is part of the United Kingdom along with England, Scotland and Ireland. I live near the capital city of Cardiff in a pretty little village called Nelson which is surrounded by beautiful countryside and has loads of wildlife and walking areas for Mum to take me on nice long walks each day, on the weekends she takes me an extra-long walks and then I get home and play ball and then usually sleep for a few hours.
The apple tree.
Apple.
I love my new favourite game – it’s called apple chasing!
Walking through the woodland area.
Over the little wooden bridge to the woodland trails.
There’s not “mushroom” to walk here but you sure see some fungi’s to sniff!
This is just one of the little nature trails you can follow which leads you around Parc Penallta its a really beautiful place to visit in all seasons.
I love it when Mum takes me here because I can run off lead and play, free to sniff around and to try to catch all the rabbits, frogs, dragonflies and butterflies that live here!
I walk over the wooden bridge at the end of the trail and down to the brick bridge to see the coal trains.
The coal train.
Nelson used to be a big coal mining community.
Choo-Choo! Bye-Bye Train!
Running back over the bridge from the train because I’m scared of the noise!
I’m now at the big lake where there is a pretty boardwalk and lots of my dragonfly friends!
