Late Evening Walk with Mum!

Happy to be out in the warm sunshine having a late evening walk with Mum.

The lake in the evening - so tranquil and so beautiful, the colours are full of autumn promise and I feel at peace here.

The colourful Autumn countryside glows with oranges, yellows and reds.

We have to walk up a hill that follows a little stream ...

Then over a little wooden bridge....

Then once we reach the sign post we go up again to Parc Penalltas little coal lakes.

I have a look in the water and have a drink, very cold but nice to cool me down!

Looking around the little lake.

Mum loves this photo because you can see my puggy reflection in the water.

Going in for a little dip ...

Brrrrr its sooo cold!
A little swim ....

Splashy, Splash Puggy Swimming Style!

Time to get out.

What a lovely walk that was - time to go home now Mum!

Give a dog a Bone.

Last night Dad gave me a huge Ham bone to eat and it was sooooo tasty!

The bone was absolutely delicious and so meaty I really loved getting my tiny puggy teeth in to it – Mmmmmmm!

I had been a very good boy this weekend and Mum and Dad thought that I deserved a nice treat!

I sat there for over an hour munching on my bone and after all that time I STILL had some meat left on it.

I had a little drink and went right back at it, it kept me busy all night! Nom,Nom,Nom ....

Saturdays Nature Trail ... Follow Me!

Follow me as I take you on a little journey through my usual walk down the cycle track, along the train track and to the big pond. For those of you who are new to my blog I live in South Wales in Wales which is part of the United Kingdom along with England, Scotland and Ireland. I live near the capital city of Cardiff in a pretty little village called Nelson which is surrounded by beautiful countryside and has loads of wildlife and walking areas for Mum to take me on nice long walks each day, on the weekends she takes me an extra-long walks and then I get home and play ball and then usually sleep for a few hours.

The apple tree.

Apple.

I love my new favourite game – it’s called apple chasing!
Walking through the woodland area.

Over the little wooden bridge to the woodland trails.

There’s not “mushroom” to walk here but you sure see some fungi’s to sniff!

This is just one of the little nature trails you can follow which leads you around Parc Penallta its a really beautiful place to visit in all seasons.

I love it when Mum takes me here because I can run off lead and play, free to sniff around and to try to catch all the rabbits, frogs, dragonflies and butterflies that live here!

I walk over the wooden bridge at the end of the trail and down to the brick bridge to see the coal trains.

The coal train.

Nelson used to be a big coal mining community.

Choo-Choo!  Bye-Bye Train!

Running back over the bridge from the train because I’m scared of the noise!

I’m now at the big lake where there is a pretty boardwalk and lots of my dragonfly friends!

Looking in the water for some fish…

Owww I see one, I see one!!!

Jumping in the water to try and catch some fish….

Come here little fishy get in my tummy!!!

Nom, Nom, Nom …

Owww no luck catching a fish.

Let’s go home Mum!

I’m trying to hide in the grass by the gate.

In The Park - Nelson link sign to tell people what’s in Nelson and what they can do here.
I hope that you enjoyed my little tour , hope to take you out on more adventures with me soon!
