Lamb Bone!

Last night Nanna Moyna gave me a lamb bone with lots of meat on as a treat!

I kept jumping up to look in the fridge to get at it but FINALLY Dad gave it to me when he was watching the football and I was quite for hours, I sat and munched on it, I striped it completely and I absolutely loved every lip smacking second of it!

Well its Thursday today and Mum was very excited leaving the house she says it’s her “Friday” because she is off work for Easter from 22nd April to May 2nd so she is with me for 10 whole days, she has planned to take me lots of nice places, she has arranged with Ernie’s Mum and Dad to go for a long walk along the Knap which I’m really looking forward to! I love spending time with Ernie, he is so much fun to play with! I’m looking forward to Mum and Dad being with me every day and taking me for long walks to different places and visits to see everyone like Nanna Moyna and Grandpa John, Nannie Carina and Bampie Dave and then having long evening snuggles and sleeps!
Dad has said he would take me and Mum to see those big Canadian geese down Roath Park, I like it down there because there is lots of bread for me to eat, I have to stay on my lead but if I’m good I get to have a lick of Mums icecream, hee,hee!
Hopefully the weather will stay nice as it has been warm, sunny and beautiful all week!
The next few months are going to be good too, Mum is also off work from Saturday May 28th and I get to spend a few days in Pembroke with Jasper and then its panic stations for the wedding but I get to go along with them on their honey moon in the Cotswolds in July and they are off for a week with me!! I'm a very spoiled Puggy!!

On a walk down the track the other day I met Oscar and his Dad, we walked down the track Nelson way and I played with Oscar all the way, he is a cavalier king Charles spaniel like my birth Mum and we chased one another around, walked side by side and played wrestling, it was so much fun!
The real fun was listening to Oscars dads story about getting fined for fouling, poor little Oscar had a poop in the park and his dad was being watched by community members that booked him for not picking up his poop which was apparently particularly liquescent and fined him for a whopping £75 and Oscars Dad was so annoyed that he wrote them a little poem which I am yet to hear but it was wrote by Oscars Dad, Mum and the kids and were rocking laughing at the verses of Osc humping and other such situations! Let this be a warning to all you dog owners out there who do not pick up our poop!
Dog fouling is a major issue for many of our towns and cities. It is the most offensive type of litter on our streets and it is consistently raised as a public concern. In 2008 the UK dog population was estimated to be 7.3 million, with dogs producing approximately 1,000 tonnes of excrement each day. In a recent survey of over 19,000 sites dog fouling was present in over 8% of these sites. Some dog owners still fail to clean up after us!!

On the weekend the weather was beautiful, Mum has started to take me down the track around the pond and back to give me some more exercise now that the weather is warm and the nights are light for longer, I really enjoy it, I like my walks and I sleep really good in the nights! I like to see all the sheep in the fields, one sheep had decided to take a walk down the track and even though I'm on a diet I had to have a nibble on some of his poop! Mum told me off though and now I dont eat it anymore ... even if it was yummy! Hee,Hee!

Saturday with Jasper!

I had a nice day on Saturday with my friend Jasper, he was only down for the day so we had to make the most of it! Mum collected Jasper in the morning from his Nans as his Mum Judie was down for Nanna Moynas Birthday. It was a warm and sunny day so Mum decided to take us for a long walk down the track, along the boardwalk, around the football pitch, in the park for a game of the Fetch ball where we had a little run around and then we went home and played in the garden for a while where we chased eachother until we were worn out!

I love my cousin Jasper! I'm going down to stay with him in May and I'm really looking forward to it!

After Jasper had gone I lay in the sun and fell asleep because I was so tired after all of the playing together, I like to sunbathe but Mum soon took me inside and I cuddled up on the sofa with Mum and we both watched the cooking channels and drifted off for a late afternoon snooze together!

This weekend the news has said that we have had a mini heatwave, the weather has been sunny and boiling hot all weekend, I loved going for a walk with Mum and Aunty Ashley on Friday down the track, I saw lots of Lambs (which makes me feel Welsh and proud!) and have met some new dog friends! I have had a paddle in the stream and have enjoyed my long walk!

I have also enjoyed these long warm sunny evenings, Mum has been playing with me out the back until 9 o'clock and then I have been cuddling up, cooling off and relaxing inside.
