Dog Holiday 2013 (Part 1)

Dog Holiday 2013 in Park View Barn, Botany Bay in Darbyshire.

Ernie with his Dad Pete and Mum Sam came to our house before we set off on a long road trip to the gorgeous Countryside location!

Me and Mum Hug under the apple trees after we have a look around our Beautiful Barn.

Ernie loved smelling the garden and running around on the grass with fallen apples at his feet.

There was a doggy gate by the front door so we watched as the Pawrents got all our luggage in.

I watched what everyone was doing and sniffed around the Barn.

Pete and Dad loved that there was a pool table there.

It was Pete's Birthday on 22nd September but we celebrated at our Barn.

Everyone in the Onesies ... I felt left out that me and Ernie didn't get one!

But with all the fun on our Road Trip and with sniffing around our Holiday Home it was so exhausting that all us doggies wanted to do was sleep!

Zzzzzzz ... but there is more fun to be had!

Its the Claw!

My Claw is much better, all the dead nail has come away to reveal my new nail, you can see the ridge between the old nail and new nail and thankfully the underside of my nail is looking good and the new nail is enclosed and not split!

I'm home from my Dog Holiday!

Im home sweet home after my Dog Holiday, I had so much fun with my Pawrents and Ernie and his Pawrents but now Im going to sleep the weekend away getting over all that fun!

Not Mushroom in here!

Friday Problem Paw!

I have been back to The Vet again about my claw, as you can see it has dried up and is now just a dead nail.

This close-up looks yucky but it is getting better, but I may have to have my claw surgically removed for the new claw to grow back as the quick (the pink part in the normal nail) came out of the underside of the nail and may not heal properly. 

I have been given HiBi Scrub which is an antibacterial wash and Fuciderm Gel which is an antibiotic cream, I'm back wearing my sock again to stop me licking my claw as it needs to be kept dry to heal.

The good news is that it wont be a problem on my holiday so I can still go for walks and play with my Bionic Buddy Ernie, my claw is healing it just needs to be kept clean but will be reviewed after the holiday to see if I do need a claw operation.
