Friday Problem Paw!



I have been back to The Vet again about my claw, as you can see it has dried up and is now just a dead nail.


This close-up looks yucky but it is getting better, but I may have to have my claw surgically removed for the new claw to grow back as the quick (the pink part in the normal nail) came out of the underside of the nail and may not heal properly. 


I have been given HiBi Scrub which is an antibacterial wash and Fuciderm Gel which is an antibiotic cream, I'm back wearing my sock again to stop me licking my claw as it needs to be kept dry to heal.

The good news is that it wont be a problem on my holiday so I can still go for walks and play with my Bionic Buddy Ernie, my claw is healing it just needs to be kept clean but will be reviewed after the holiday to see if I do need a claw operation.

    WOW Frank, that did look nasty. You are brave brave. And woo hoo you still get to romp and play with bionic Ernie on holiday. That should make your paw heal even faster. I am no doctor but that is what I think.
