Christmas Tree!

My First EVER time seeing the Christmas Tree (in its disassembled state here) was Christmas 2010 and I wasn't too sure what was going on!

Frozen Grass and a Pugcicle!

Today I woke up and went outside and the grass was frozen!

Its got so cold here, its really winter now and my paws are almost freezing to the floor, I'm a Pugcicle!

See the frost on the blades of grass! Brrrrr!

I don't want to go to the toilet on this frozen stuff, I'm scared it may freeze mid-flow! BOL!

Friday Fireworks and Frank!

On Monday November 5th we all went to Nan's House for Bonfire Night.

We had lots of fireworks, I wasn't scared I just barked a bit, but Dad held me in his arms just in case!

Then we went inside for foodables!

I got my own hot dog and some cake too!

It was a really, really fun night!

Ernie Update!

Ernie’s Mum and Dad went to the vets to have Ernie's staples removed.

The Vet seemed very pleased with Ernie’s progress and was glad to see him walking well on it. They go back on 2nd January for the x-rays. One of the staples caused a small bleed which indicated that the wound wasn't 100% healed but the Vet said that it would be ok in 5 days and then the lampshade can come off (finally!)

Photos are of Ernie's x-rays, the marks you can see running down the left hand side of the x-ray are Ernie's staples (he had 15 staples and internal stitches which will dissolve in time- can’t see stitches on x-ray).

You can see the cut in the bone and the metal plate holding the bone together – Sam didn’t have chance to take a sneaky pic of the xray showing the screws!

I will continue to give you updates on Ernie but for now he is doing fine!

Happy Guy Fawks Night!

"Remember, Remember,The Fifth of November,
Gunpowder, Treason and Plot.
We see no reason why
Gunpowder treason
Should ever be forgot!"

In November 1605, the infamous Gunpowder Plot took place where man called Guy Fawkes and a group of plotters attempted to blow up the Houses of Parliament in London with barrels of gunpowder placed in the basement. They wanted to kill King James and the king’s leaders. Guy Fawkes was arrested and this story is remembered each 5th November when 'Guys' (like scarecrows) are burned in a celebration known as "Bonfire Night".
Bonfires are lit and fireworks explode in the night sky and people gather for food and enjoy the nights events. As a little Puggy I get scared of the loud bangs from the fireworks I run around barking at them but I do like looking at them sparkle in the sky and the food is always so nice, Mum eats toffee apples and we go down Nanna Moynas and we all have hot dogs and we make lovely beef stews made with cider or stout and eat it with chunky bread rolls! Mmmmmm! I'm excited just thinking about all those foodables!
