Traffic Safety.

Welcome to my TRAFFIC SAFETY where I will be telling you a how to navigate the roads, understand traffic signs and how to reduce that road rage!

I am lucky to live in an area where there is very little traffic and roads so I am always free to run around in a lot of my adventures BUT I do live in a little Village where there are roads and traffic to be aware of.

The number one rule of  TRAFFIC SAFETY is ALWAYS to keep your Human on their walking string at ALL TIMES near roads.

This is me helping Mum to Cross the road using the designated crossing area and as you can see I'm wearing my Safety Jacket and Mum is on her walking string and I must keep her very close to me, you never know when your Human may see a 50% off Sale and want to run off, so keep them close by your side for pawtection!

Another SAFETY tip is to always keep on the path ways, never go into the road just in case there is TRAFFIC and you must stay behind safety fences.

Here you see me and Mum keeping to the path and because we are near the road my Mum is safe on her walking string.

It is also a very impawtant part of TRAFFIC SAFETY to read road signs.

...but you don't always have to obey them!

Hee,Hee!

Some of you however may prefer to stick to the traffic signals....

There are lots of signs to follow!

Some Traffic Signs are stranger than others...

Some signs are even written in OUR language!

Us dogs are very clever and we can even HELP with the Traffic but unless you are a Pawlice Dog then you need to get your tail out of the roads at ALL TIMES!

Dont think its only Dogs ... Kittys can cause problems too!

Road rage can be a problem at busy times but you need to try and keep your cool.

Just remember that Road Rage can kill!

No Barking at the wheel!

In case of any Traffic Emergency a Traffic Cone Must be used to warn others of dangers!

So in conclusion always be on the look out for Traffic and Road Hazards, its very impawtant to look at your surroundings and keep the TRAFFIC SAFETY in mind!

Thank you!

  4. We've seen a nutty human in town who walks her dog by the road. The dog has its human on a walking string but the string is so long that the dog is walking in the street and the human is on the sidewalk. SHEESH!
    Great Post Today....thank you!

  5. Excellent post, Frank with lots of important Traffic Safety information! Personally, my human only tries to run off when she sees the BOGO sign - Buy One, Get One (free) - it is so difficult to keep hold of her leash when she sees those. I love the lessons on the traffic signs...so glad to see they are finally writing them in Dog!

  9. Wow, this was a grreat talk! You look SO snazzy in your traffic safety vest. I need one of those for our nighttime walks. In the winter, my warm coat is reflective, but when it's not cold, I have to rely on Momma's reflective vest to make us visible.

  14. We loved the part about making sure the human is attached to the other end of the leash in case they see a 50% off sale or something! That cracked us up!

And Mommy is glad she never saw a warning sign with that monster/dragon thing coming out from behind that hill. Gulp! There is no way Mommy would drive on that road! LOL

  16. We like the idea not to follow all the traffic signs. We also think it is very, very important to keep our Lady on a leash. She may not run toward the deer or turkeys if we weren't pulling her along. Thanks for a great class!
