Pull out your warm winter sweaters and prepare to sit outside Starbucks while your humans drink up their pumpkin spice lattes and eat pumpkin pies because today is the first day of fall in the Earth’s Northern hemisphere, also known as the September or Autumnal equinox!
While some meteorologists consider Sept. 1 to be the first day of fall, the autumnal equinox is how it is defined by astronomy.
This year’s equinox takes placeon Sept. 23 at 4:21 a.m. Eastern time.
Today I woke up with a chill in my whiskers and a light nip in my tail, the morning mist covered the garden and I could tell that Autumn was here, its been getting darker in the evenings and I've been snuggling with My Mum under blankets and the candles are being lit - its a beautiful time of year!
I'm always scared in the waiting room but mainly because I have to get on the scales of shame!
I have lost weight again, I was very pleased with myself.
Dave Deane was the Vet who had a look at me, he was such a nice guy, so friendly, he said that my lumpy bumpy may just go on its own, it looks like ahistiocytoma which is a benign skin growth that usually goes away by itself, so he wants me to come back in three weeks and if its not gone then I will have to have a biopsy on it, besides that I had my nails cut (he is now my favorite to cut my nails he didn't stress me out and didn't make me bleed with my long quicks), my glands expressed, had my flea and wormer and just a general health check and besides my ear bumpy I'm all good!
