It Snowed! (Max's First Snow Fall)

Well what a winter wonderland we woke up to this weekend.

Mum said we had to go out and explore because she was sure we had fallen into Narnia or The North Pole.

Our footprints were the first to touch the Snow but we made sure to sniff to see if there were any sign of Santa or his Reindeer.

As an Honorary Woo I love the snow and enjoyed every moment I was out in it.

Max was curious about it all, he had never seen the snow before so he tried to eat the falling snowflakes then bury his head in the snow....

He eventually ran around like crazy and sniffed the cold fresh snowy air

Then he made yellow snow!!

Once back inside we both got cuddles in warm blankets and warm sweet potato mash, it was a great day, a snow day!

We had a nice warm sleep while Mum went out to take more photos of the snow.

What a wonderful winters day!

Bouncing Back and Biting Hard!

Hi Everyone, I am feeling much better now!

Frank has been looking after me and checking my play pen to make sure it's safe.

He actually liked sleeping in my pen when I was out of it.

I slept with Mum on the sofa.

I liked to have Frank in my pen with me.

But he can't stay in for long as I need my rest.

I have to keep this cone on my head for 10 days but I'm being so spoiled I don't mind, I went to the Vet for them to check that everything was healing properly and they tried to take my temperature in the tushie so I bit her, Mum gave me a row but I just dont trust those Vet people anymore!

Post-Operation Blues.

This is when my brother came home, he was really floppy and out of it but Mum kept him warm and safe in his pen, she spent the night in his pen taking care of him.

I watched my baby brother all night to make sure that he was ok.

Max stayed on the sofa for a while so Mum could monitor him.

Back in his pen to stay safe in the night.

Max's pain relief medication and special food.

The following day I didn't leave his side.

I love my little baby brother!

Thank you so much for all your healing wishes, power of paw and magic bubbles!

Love Frank and Max XxxxxxX

Flashback Friday - Frank's Castration Operation.

Monday, 6 September 2010

I'm Back and I'm Better!

I have been away for 10 days, I am very glad to be back, below are a few photos of me to show you all what I went through! I had my operation on Friday 27th and I felt really groggy when I got home, I was in pain and felt really ill, but Mum and Dad cuddled me up and kept me safe and warm, they put their bed downstairs to be with me and we all slept together for a few nights. My next door neighbours were very kind and got me a get well soon card and the vet gave me soft food to eat for two days. The next day I felt better, I just had to get used to my new collar, which really got on my nerves but Mum and Dad had fun with me! We played a lot and mum gave me my kibbles with water so it wouldn’t hurt my teeth and then took me for a short walk twice a day. Tonight I get the collar off and my stitches out, I am really looking forward to it!!

Just before my operation.

So happy and blissfully unaware of what is going to happen to me next!

Me being carried in by My Dad because I couldnt stand, my legs gave way from under me due to the anesthetic and feeling ill and in pain.

Feeling sorry for myself.

Feeling in pain just after I got home from my operation.

Urgggghhh!

Laying down feeling sorry for myself ...

Still feeling sorry for myself ....

See my sad eyes!

The razored section of my front leg where they put the anasthetic in.

My Stitches.

Trying to get the hang of my "lamp shade" collar while feeling back to my old self two days later playing ball!

How do I pick up this ball with this thing on my head??

Playing again.

Showing off my Lampshade now I have got used to it.

My get well soon card off Sammie, Craig and Alex - Thanks guys!!

Relaxing on Mums bed, getting spoiled.

My stitches now with all my fur growing back - getting them out today! Wahoo!
