Wordless Wednesday Penallta Parc Bike and Walk!

Ok so let me explain this, Mum thought that it would be a good idea to train me to run along next to her on the bike to loose some of my puggy pounds, being overweight and back on my diet (which replaces yummy treats to carrots and apples) to help me back on track for my goal weight of 9kg so the Vet can see improvement! I'm almost 13kg now and it shows, I'm one tubby puggy so I thought I would give it a go!

Auntie Ashley came along for the ride! Ha,Ha!

Me running like a mad fool after Mum on the bike...

I'm doing well and keep up with her as she cycles SLOW down the track!

I gave up running after Auntie Ashley.

I love it here at Parc Penallta its so beautiful but I'm not here to rest I'm here to run!

The signs show the people on bikes which route to follow.

We stop for a rest and a hug ...

... and a much needed drink!

Ashley rides on home with me far behind walking with mum the only problem now is ....

...which way is home???

  1. That looks like good exercise but be very careful not to do it if it is so hot or to get overheated, we are sure your mom knows puggies are sensetive that way.

  7. My my you are athletic Frank! I think you did a great job running beside Mom and Auntie Ashley and your smiley face proves it. I don't do much running...it's a pug thing. Carrots and apples are still acceptable treats. At least there are some treats. Always good to look on the positive side! But maybe some peanut butter on the apple? Mmmmmmmmmm. Dad gave us some honey dew melon the other day and it was very tasty.
