The Queens Diamond Jubilee!



Today I am celebrating 60 years of The Queen's reign!
The Diamond Jubilee celebrations will centre around this extended bank holiday weekend from Friday 2nd to Tuesday 5th of June!
There will be lots of party's going on, street party's especially and that means foodables galore! Everyone in the UK will be celebrating!
The Queen came to the throne on 6 February 1952 and her coronation took place on 2 June 1953. The Queen then celebrated her Silver Jubilee (25 years) in 1977 and her Golden Jubilee (50 years) in 2002 and now in 2012 its her Diamond Jubilee!

    Oh, I am so so jealous of all our UK friends. My heart belongs to England (or moms does). Mom did a post a while back on the royal family and dogs with a scones recipe, maybe I will post it again
