Autumnal Equinox!

Pull out your warm winter sweaters and prepare to sit outside Starbucks while your humans drink up their pumpkin spice lattes and eat pumpkin pies because today is the first day of Fall in the Earth’s Northern hemisphere, also known as the September or Autumnal Equinox!
While some meteorologists consider September 1st to be the first day of fall, the autumnal equinox is how it is defined by astronomy.

Today I woke up with a chill in my whiskers and a light nip in my tail, the morning mist covered the Farm and rolled over the fields and I could tell that Autumn was here, its been getting darker in the evenings and I've been snuggling with My Mum under blankets and the candles are being lit - its a beautiful time of year, its Mum's favorite and its mine too!

  1. And before you know it, Frank, it will be winter and time to join the Woos as our Honorary Woo. Mom has tried that pumpkin spice latte and loved it.

  3. It's always great to see you Frank! It doesn't seem like Autumn around here yet. It was hot and muggy today. But the nights are getting cool and the leaves starting to turn yellow. The farm markets are starting to put out their pumpkin harvests. Yup, it's a great time of year!

  4. We seem to have skipped fall for a bit - quite chilly and snowing in the higher elevations!
