A Day with Coffee.

My Uncle Coffee came to stay for the day.

Coffee is Dad's little Brother.

I took Coffee on a walk around my favorite places.

We sniffed all over the place, even sniffing each other!

Coffee enjoyed being off lead!

I showed Coffee the Sheep in the field and the little Lambs.

I showed Coffee the stream to play in and cool our furs.

Coffee loved to run around with the wind in his furs!

I took him to see the UFO that landed in the fields.

Coffee almost got beamed up to space!

We were on our way home and a train came.

Coffee was scared of the train but I was brave.

Once home we all piled on Daddy for a nice sleep!

What a wonderful walk.

Vets Injection and Health Check.

I had to go to my vet to get a top up injection for Leptospirosis which is a potentially life threatening bacterial disease that affects both dogs and humans. It is carried by rats and other rodents and survives in damp environments, including still and slow moving water.
Dogs that frequent farmland, streams, rivers and ponds are considered most at risk from Leptospirosis. Until recently there have been only two strains of the disease seen in the UK and our dog vaccinations offered protection against both of these strains. However, other strains of this disease are present on mainland Europe and these are now being seen in the UK. An outbreak which affected more than fifty dogs has recently occurred in the Bristol/Bath area. As a result of this, a new vaccination has been manufactured to protect against these additional strains and that is what I had to go get, they wanted to poke me!

I don't mind going to the Vet really, I'm scared in the waiting room and try to run back out of the door when they call my name but I always get a lot of fuss from everyone there.

The bit I dread is the weight check.

12.60kg is the lowest I have been since I started my diet, being 15kg at my heaviest!

Wahoo for me, I am so happy!

Thank you to Emma who did my health check and my injection, she was so kind to me, she gave me a treat and made me feel relaxed!

When I got home Mum gave me a treat and said how brave and good I was!

Maybe going to the Vet isn't so bad after all!
