Frank The Tank: "Your My Boy Blu!"

This is my new friend Blu, he is a Jack Russell Puppy and he is only 7 weeks old!

Blu stayed with me and my Mum on Saturday because his Mum (Clair) was in work and his Dad (Elliott) was playing football (Soccar) with my Dad! 

Blu had such a good time with me, he followed me around like my shadow and played with a few of my toys! I'm a good Boy when it comes to sharing my toys but NOT sharing my food!

I even let Blu drink out of my doggy bowl!

 This is Blu following me ....

I got a little scared of him and had run up the stairs after my Mum ....

Blu cant get up the stairs yet ...

Mum told me one day he will be able to and he will be following me up there too and not to be scared of him as he is only small!

Mum picked Blu up and played with him for a while...

 Aunty Ashley came over to see me and Blu too!

 Blu had soooo much fun with me that he cuddle up with Aunty Ashley to go to sleep!

I hope you liked Blu, he will be over my house again really soon!

I've been an alcoholic since my puppy days, here is a photo of me drinking a Bud and watching the game with Dad!

Dad shares his pint with me during a refreshing stop in a pub while on holidays staying with Jasper and his family!

In Devon on my first "Dog Holiday" with Ernie and his Parents, Sam and Pete and Dad once again shares a nice cold one with me! Mmmm!

At home in one of our Barbeque's and Dad helps me out with a drink from his Peroni bottle!

While on holiday with Jasper and his Family last year, Dad lets me have a sip from his cold beer after a long walk!

 I guess I'm a Booze Hound because of Dad, he is defiantly leading me astray!

 Mum on the other hand doesn't really drink but she loves a Cherry Coke!

Mum says Pugaliers shouldn't drink coke ....

That doesn't stop Dad from giving me some though!

The Ever Elusive Lutra Lutra....

Otters use Nelson Wern!

There are Otters in Nelson Wen Park, it is not known if they are breeding, they might just hide out during the day or come to the Park to feed on frogs. Whatever the reason, this is Britain’s largest predator; even so you are extremely unlikely to see one, as they are mostly nocturnal.

On the 2nd July 2007, before I was even born, Cardiff University Students came  to in Nelson Wern to work on a project to build a home for the Otters, or a holt. John Bell from Keep Wales Tidy and Dave Beveridge from CCBC Parks Services had found evidence that otters are using the site and had found a suitable place to build a holt. Sturdy branches are placed on top of a wood structure as a roof, leaving two entrances for the otters. There is no guarantee that otters will ever use the holt, but if they don’t, something else will. They make very good habitat piles and are sources of food for many birds, such as Thrushes and Wrens, providing nesting sites for them too. The materials come from an area to be cleared as a forest glade, so were growing on site. Where the trees were cut the sunlight can now reach the forest floor. This will allow plants to bloom, where the dense canopy had suppressed them.  I love nature and enjoy exploring all the wildlife in my little village! Whenever I go for walks with Mum I always look out for our Otter friends, they have been seen in the big lake having a swim but you have to be quick because as soon as they hear my Puggy paws along the Lake Boardwalk they run and hide!

Then I caught a smell of something and shot off as fast as my puggy lets could take me!
